A Chilly Week at Larsson’s: A Robbery, a Move, and the Season’s First Flu (but still standing)!
Last week at Larsson’s was quite an adventure, to say the least! It started off with an office that was unusually cold—little did I know, that would be the least of our worries. On Monday, moving day, I walked into our old office on the 3rd floor only to find it had been broken into. Smashed windows greeted me, along with missing items that ranged from the practical to the downright random—coffee packages, the coffee machine, a laptop, mobile phone, TV remotes, the meeting owl, and even the toilet paper! Oddly enough, in all the chaos, my trusty Stanley thermos was left untouched. At least I still had something to keep my drinks warm!
Despite the rocky start, we pushed ahead with the move. But the new office didn’t quite offer the warmth we were hoping for—literally. It was so cold in the new space that I had to do jumping jacks and lunges throughout the day just to stay warm. Definitely not part of the plan, but it did keep my energy up!
Of course, the cold eventually caught up with me, and I ended the week with the season’s first flu. But despite it all—the robbery, the move, and the chill—I’m staying positive. We’ve overcome a lot in just one week, and I’m confident warmer days (in more ways than one!) are on the horizon.
If nothing else, this whole experience has given us a story to tell and a reason to laugh through it. Bring on the next chapter!
